Who I Am
I’m Michigan-born, Boston-based, and fueled by my love for luxury, fashion, and storytelling. As a junior at Boston University studying Public Relations with minors in Entrepreneurship and Hospitality, I’ve discovered how to balance creativity with strategy in a way that feels uniquely my own. From designing brand concepts to curating meaningful events, I find joy in crafting fresh ideas with intention. This website is a reflection of my passion for storytelling—this time, to share my own.

My Roots
I didn’t always know what I wanted to do, but I always knew I wanted to create something meaningful. Growing up in Michigan, I was surrounded by a strong sense of community and the space to dream big. High school was where those dreams began to take shape, but not in the way you’d expect.

It started with YouthTank Detroit, an entrepreneurial program I co-founded to empower inner-city students to turn their ideas into businesses. I was just 18, designing a merchandise line that included t-shirts, holographic stickers, and trucker hats. I didn’t know much about branding back then, but I poured everything into making it work. By the time we were done, we’d raised over $5,000 and reached more than 400 students. It was the first time I saw how creativity could have real impact—and I was hooked.

Around the same time, I was taking a creative writing class that, at first, felt like just another elective. My English teacher wasn’t the warm, encouraging type, but he saw something in my work. At the end of the year, he told me, “Your writing is something you should develop in every way possible.” Those words hit me harder than I expected. For the first time, I saw storytelling as more than a skill—it was a way to connect, to create, and to make something that mattered.

Why PR & Fashion
When my dad was diagnosed with cancer during my freshman year of college, it was a wake-up call that changed everything. I was at Indiana University, studying business at the Kelley School, following a path that felt practical but not inspiring. His diagnosis forced me to reevaluate everything—what I wanted, who I was, and how I wanted to spend my time.

I realized that life was too short to play it safe or settle for anything less than what set my soul on fire. I’d always been drawn to creativity, fashion, and storytelling, but I’d never given myself permission to fully pursue those passions. My dad’s diagnosis gave me the urgency and clarity I needed to make a change.

I applied to 15 schools in search of a fresh start, ultimately choosing Boston University. Boston felt like a place where things were happening—a city full of opportunity, energy, and creativity. It was the perfect environment to chase my dream of working in fashion and eventually living in New York City.

Fashion, to me, is about more than style—it’s about stories. It’s about the way a brand communicates, the way a garment speaks to its wearer, and the way creativity connects us all. Public Relations became the bridge that tied it all together for me. It gave me the tools to not just dream about fashion but to make it tangible—through branding, storytelling, and creating meaningful connections.

Every step since then—organizing a luxury fashion show at the Liberty Hotel, earning a feature in Vogue, and studying customer experience in Paris—has reaffirmed that PR and fashion are where I’m meant to be. My dad’s journey taught me to live with purpose, and pursuing my love for fashion is my way of honoring that lesson every day.
